Is the Iraq War Legal?Thursday, March 6First Unitarian will host and co-sponsor a Town Hall Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on March 6, 2008. The meeting is designed to address the issues of legality/illegality of the Iraq War and Occupation. Two nationally famous speakers/authors - Scott Ritter and Elizabeth De La Vega - will be featured. Following their presentations national legislative representatives (invited) will be asked to state their position as part of a panel that will also include a representative of IVAW and Declaration of Peace. Finally, the community will be invited to participate in an open dialogue on the topic of legality and the direction we will take in response to the discussion. Donations will be collected at the door to cover expenses.
